Our Core Values

The Educational Psychology Service aims to work together to improve the lives of children, young people and families in Wolverhampton by promoting inclusion, helping to overcome barriers and enabling positive participation for all.

  • Child-centred - The child and their voice is at the heart of all we do.
  • Inclusive - We work to support active participation for all - all means all.
  • Collaborative - We work with others and value and respect their views and contributions.
  • Promote equality and anti-oppressive practice - We respect and celebrate difference. We challenge discrimination and anti-oppressive practice.
  • Empowering - We support others to feel confident by working together with children, families and other partners to ensure all are involved.
  • Solution-focused - We work with others and take a strengths-based approach to identify solutions and foster positive change.
